Aurora has two separate sets of social links: one for your site-wide header and footer icons, and one for individual author profiles. They are configured in different places and appear in different locations on the front end.
Site-wide Social Icons (Header & Footer)
These are set in Appearance → Customize → Socials & Contact. Enter the full URL for each platform you want to display. Icons only appear for platforms with a URL entered.

These icons appear in your header social icons position (on layouts that support it) and in your footer when the Show social links in the footer toggle is enabled. See How to Show or Hide Footer Social Icons for details.
Author Profile Social Links
These are set per user under Users → Edit → Contact Info. Aurora adds six fields to each WordPress user profile:
