How to Configure the Sticky Header
Aurora’s sticky header keeps your header fixed at the top of the viewport as visitors scroll down the page. It is available on all 6 horizontal header layouts and enabled with a single toggle. Smart hide is an additional feature which lets the header step back while visitors scroll down and brings it back the moment they scroll up.

How to Enable
- Go to Appearance → Customize.
- Open Layouts → Header Layout.
- Find the Sticky Header toggle.
- Turn it on.
- Click Publish.
How It Behaves
When sticky is enabled, the header remains at the top of the screen as the visitor scrolls. The page content scrolls underneath it. The header retains the same height and appearance throughout. It does not shrink, fade, or change style as the page scrolls.
Smart hide takes things further. The header tucks away as visitors scroll down, giving content the full spotlight, then glides back into view the moment they scroll up. Navigation is always within reach, without ever getting in the way.
Vertical Headers Are Always Fixed
The two vertical layouts, Upright and Thin, are side panels permanently fixed to the left edge of the screen. They do not use the sticky toggle because they are inherently fixed by design.
